This may be true, as closer keywords may signal a totally different keyword created as a combination of two search terms.

On number 7. If your doing a good job in your link buying there really shouldn’t be a differance between the two. A good example is in this blog post.

You have a link to John’s site. Is that organic or paid? Could be either way. If you are carefull how you buy, no one including Google should be able to tell the differance.

Hi Rob, welcome aboard the seogeek blog.

Thats a great post, and I am really surprised at the example that yu have dug out there. Obviously inbounds are the key, but I have always spent a load of time on onpage factors, and maybe my time could be spent better elsewhere.
